How do I run my first payroll?

After completing your company setup, go to Payroll → Run Payroll. Add your employees, set their pay rates and schedules, connect your bank account, and click Run. Your first payroll typically takes 3–5 business days to process.

Does Ogo Ops handle payroll taxes automatically?

Yes. Ogo Ops calculates and withholds all federal, state, and local payroll taxes on your behalf. We generate your quarterly Form 941, annual W-2s, and 1099-NEC forms — ready for you to review and file. Direct IRS e-filing is on our roadmap and will be available soon.

What happens if I get an IRS penalty?

If you receive an IRS penalty due to a confirmed error in Ogo Ops's tax calculations — not from incorrect data you provided — we'll cover it. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the penalty notice. See Section 9.3 of our Terms of Service for the full details.

Can I import data from my current payroll provider?

Yes. We support data imports from QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and most major providers. Our onboarding team will help you migrate your employee records, pay history, and tax filings.

How does the accounting integration work?

Every payroll run, invoice, and expense automatically posts to your general ledger with the correct account codes. There's nothing to sync or export — it happens in real time.

Is my data secure?

Ogo Ops is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA compliant. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use bank-level security for all financial data and never sell your information.

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We'll export all your data in a standard format so you can take it with you.

How many employees can I add?

All plans support unlimited employees. Pricing is per employee per month, so you only pay for what you use. Add or remove employees at any time.
